i got a Question for the amd extreme performance check

for those who dont know what i am talkin of: http://www.amdrealitycheck.com

i wanna goto this real bad. the one in boston. however, this is at a 18+ club and lucky me i am 17 1/2 years.

is the show 18+? yes? no? if so why? it doesnt make any sence its not like they give you cigs and porn there. do you think it will be easy for me to fake my age so i can get in?

anyone know?

Have you tried contacting the club? The promoters may have rented the club for this event, and the club's regular age limit may not apply, depends on what is being served to the guests...I certainly wouldn't advise you in a public forum like this to fake your age, however, since this would be a crime

Avalon is usually pretty tough to get into. Its going to be a computer show so they might wave the 18+ thing, but that I am not sure of. You could always call to confirm. Then again you could just show up and press your luck.

ive got a similar problem. I too am 17.5 yrs old, and the site says that you have to be 18 to do just about anything there

Like most business events, there will be achohol there and therefore definately 18+ will be enforced. I dont ever remember a large business event without alcohol.

well i know you are canadian (heh heh) but in the usa you need to be 21 years old to get alchlohol so i dont see what difference it would be if you are 18 or not.

Thats the problem with my parents, they know absolutely nothing. My friend may be 18 by then, so I may be in luck.

Maybe its 21 in your state, I thought some states in the U.S.A were also 18 for legal drinking age. Can you verify that its only 18+ where you live and not 21+?

I can see no reason for it being 18+ if you said the drinking age is 21+. What gives?

Well if the USA if your state wants to get federal funding for the highways they were pursuaded to up the drinking age to 21+. All the states in the USA are now 21+ because of that. The reason that the clubs are 18+ is because that is the age of majority, or basically they call you an adult. I know when I go to a club I do not want to see any 14 year old whor3s. They have clubs for them too.

im going to call AMD tommorow , ask if I have to be acompained by an adult. Or if i can get in at 16. My friend and I are pretty tall so maybe they wont say anything with our facial hair lol. im 6ft he's 5'10 so hopefully i'll grow some more by then an they wont ask haha.
