RAID 0 question and "Set boot disk" HPT bios setting

My board has a HPT372 chip. I was reading through the CD7-2 manual and came across this setting in the HPT bios.
Is this option necessary? IF it is, should I set to the primary master? maybe something else?

thanks

jayel

Welcome to the forums.

What, exactly, is "this setting" that you refer to in your post?

I think, by looking at the title, that you are talking about booting from the RAID array. I would imagine that you must decide if you are going to boot from the array, or from another drive.

Give us a few more details, and we'll have an answer for you.
