Mirror one drive to another

are there any good FREE programs that mirror one hd to another?

I'm upgrading my sisters compaq from a 8gig to an 80 and she doesn't have an extra bay. so i was planning on mirroring one drive to the other,

The only one I know of is Norton Ghost. And it's far from free.

Are you sure the compaq can handle it?

My Very old one (475 K6-2) that had a 8 gig harddrive could only handle 40gb in the BIOS

Ghost is the only thing that i know that will mirror a drive sorry

And it aint free

what about putting it on as slave??

would Xcopy /a/s or something work?

the compaq has winxp on it and from what i understand NTFS doesnt use the bios to address space like FAT32 does

and even if that isn't true, maxtors website says the bios overlay will put it up to 80.

does norton systemworks have ghost on it?
i thought there was a msdos command to mirror one drive to another??????
