since I already have my ram running at approx. 158ish fsb (316 ddr speed )stable and they are pc 2100 ( 266) ram I found some pc 2400 ( 300) ram Corsair since its already running over 300 is it save to assume the mobo supports ram over pc2100?

the boards chipset only supports 266 yes...

not that I have ever overclocked ddr, but i believe a higher spec IE your 2400 will over clock better than the older - so go for it

Basicly, a PC2100 board will not support anything over PC2100 while running at stock speed. PC2400 and up will still work in a PC2100 board, you just won't be able to use the ram's potential. Now, when overclocking thats a totally different story. When you overclock the fsb you overclock the ram(assuming your running at 1:1) so PC2400, PC2700, PC3000 etc... will help. I would shoot for some PC2700 or PC3000. Corsair is probably your best bet.
