I used to get headaches when staring at the monitors for two hours...but after I got an anti-glare filter, it went away.

I just purchased a 21" monitor and was wondering if I'd really need a filter for it.

Anyone know where I can buy good ones?

Any of the well known office supply stores (Staples, Office Max, etc) should be able to set you up. Check their websites, too.

But if this is a new monitor, you might want to try it for a few days and see if the headaches return. Monitors have come with an anti-glare coating for the last four years or so, and the new flat monitors do a great job of reducing the glare, too.

I'd try it for a while and see how it goes, especially if you invested in a quality 21" monitor.

And welcome to the forums!
