Can anybody tell me if i update my mb bios do i update my Promise Bios also ?

So if there are any problems mith my raid channel can i resolve them by updating my mb bios ?

If the Raid controller is on the motherboard then yes updating the mainboard bios will also update the raid bios.

This is dependant on which Raid bios the new mainboard bios has embedded in it.

If it is onboard yes if not, then go to the cards page for the update.

The raid channels have their own bios. (i.e. High point ). But it might be specific to your mobo, so possibly both bios's will be upgraded.
