Infinite Loop

Anyone know what would make a NVidia driver (NV4_disp) go into an infinite loop. (BSOD) I tried deleting them. All of them. Nothing. It started when I tried to use the new 40.72 WHOL drivers. In the system the card came out of it ran the old 40.72 drivers with no problem. I had to go all the way back to the 21.83 drivers to get the card (GF3Ti200) to work. Tried them all. Only the 21.83 drivers would boot. But, now the Ti200 shows up as a Quadro DCC.
