Unhappy new CDRW didnt solve the old problem

Ok, i replaced my old LG cdrw with new Lite on.

but the problem is still there.

my CDs when i put them in wont auto run. i have to go in and double click on the .exe extension inside the CD itself in order to run the program.

I just dont understand what could be wrong with it?

may be i should reformat?

i forget how but you can turn autorun on the drivers. A format would work seeing how autorun on is default.

Go to your device manager (I'm assuming you're using windows of some sort) and open the properties for the CDROM causing the problem. There will be a check box marked "Auto-Insert Notification". Uncheck it and the drive shouldn't do a single thing when you insert the disk.
