Videocard OC stressful on CPU?

Someone told me the other day that OC'ing your videocard is stressful on your CPU. I'm not sure how exactly.. but he said that. Is there any truth to it?

well I wouldnt of thought so...

because surely that would mean that buying a better card that is clocked higher would cause stress on the CPU and I dont think that would fly around this part of town :)

yup... the only stress will be the stress on the actual video card in the memory and gpu. there isn't anything that is changed with the way it sends info to the cpu... it's all independent stress wise... the only "stress" the cpu will get is maybe a little extra info coming from the graphics card but that is normal... i would just be like upgrading video cards in a sense...
