Up until yesterday I had from 1.70 - 1.85 available in the BIOS. Killed my o/s and had to do a re-install. Now I'm back to 1.75-1.85. I've reflashed 5 times working my way back to 1015 still this option won't come back. Anyone else able to undervolt to 1.70 or was this just a freak thing with my MB?

Try moving the jumpers on the mobo to the 1.7/1.675 setting and see if you get it back.

Funny thing is, I thought that the vcore settings in the bios only had a .1v variance from let's say 1.7v. 1.725v, 1.75v, 1.775v and 1.8v.

I don't think I've ever seen a difference of 0.15v for the vcore.

Hmm...Good thinking. Maybe I had some dust or something opening up the lower voltages.

That's what I meant for options. I just stated highest and lowest. Lowest was 1.70 then changed to 1.75.

Edit: Worked like a charm. Thanks buddy.

P.S. Did you check out asusupdates options for downgrading the BIOS?

Asus update won't let me flash to an older bios. says I need to flash in dos.

Check your manual, it has the jumper setting to open up the lower voltage options. My 1600xp will overclock 100% stable to 1600Mhz+ on 1.70 Vcore.

I would like to get my vcore down. Mine is set to 1.75 and in mbm I am a steady 1.79-1.81 all the time.

Asus goes over spec on their voltages. That also happens to me.
My core voltage is always .07v higher in mbm5 and in the hardware monitor in the bios compared to what I set it at in the bios.

If you want a vcore of 1.75v, you'll probably need to set it to 1.675 or 1.7v in the bios to get close to 1.75v.

Try these jumper settings for lower vcore. Great when used in conjunction with the overvolt jumper.

"On" means jumpers on pins 1 and 2. No jumpers if the VID is blank.
