That's right! 500 mhz celeron doing one pAla7-2 every 24.5 hours for 10 points per day.

This is one of my 3 boxes engaged in Folding beta testing.

So if you do beta testing, you ALWAYS get palas? That might be worth giving stanford feedback, lol.

No. I've gotten a few other WUs besides those.

There's some work involved...

1. is being paranoid and checking the rig all the time for errors

2. is that you need to run -verbosity 9 and be prepared to post your logfiles for Stanford to examine when there are errors

3. you must join the betateam on the folding community boards

* I only beta test on a couple of slow machines that I can check daily. I've lost some points doing beta because of core65 errors when I wasn't there to restart it. I've gotten mostly tinker WU's and even genome WU's since joining the beta testers.

that makes me want to join the beta team.. i got a 500 athlon k7 folding, and that thing is slow... took 5 days to do the 185....

I really wish they would make FAH a real service. Then with 2000/XP you can make it restart itself.
