Quake III Server Mods

I'm hooked on Q3, but don't know how to connect to games that have special mods applied. I have turned on auto download, but it never seems to work. I frequently try to connect to a game that has a mod and it says it failed because my auto download was turned off....wtf?

BTW, I have reloaded the game several times and installed the latest updates through 1.32.

If you're tying to connect to a game like Urban Terror, and don't have Urban Terror installed, it won't connect, no matter if autodownload is on or not.

You have to have the mod installed.

How do I know what mod it is that I have to install?
