Hi,
I have a Duron 700 and want to clock it to 900 MHz. Now I'm in trouble because I can't decide between the Abit KT7 and the MSI KT7Pro 2. Heard there are problems with both - but which one could be better for a newbie like me I'm really not a Hardcore Tuner, I just want to experiment a little bit

I think that it's a personal preference issue. No matter what board you get, there are going to be people that have issues and people that don't. The MSI board is cheaper. I've been testing on the 2A pretty hard for several weeks now and once I've tweaked a processor the thing is solid.

Maybe it's better to wait a couple of weeks till the VIA 133A mobo's are all going to be released (MSI K7T Turbo-R, Epox 8 KTA3/3+ (already available)).
