Quick question. I just got my new chip+ mobo, but had to use the heat sink compound it came with on my wifes cpu. I went to radio shack and bout a Silicone-base heat sink compound. Will this work or do i need something else?

It'll work just fine. If you ever get into hardcore overclocking, you might want to consider putting Arctic Silver on there instead, but the diference is minimal- a degree or two at best.

I've used the RS stuff for years, even on heavily OCed systems, and it always works just fine.

thx

Thx for the quick response man. Ive been workin with cpus for a long time, and oc'in. But i havent used radio shacks stuff b 4. Thx again, time to put my system together :)
