Promise TX2 card....

just wanted some feedback as to how i should go about setting up my drives with this card. i am using the ecs k7s5a mobo and right now i have my maxtor ata 133 drive on ide 1 on the card and my wd 20 5400 on ide 2 on the card as well. i have alg 32x burner on ide 1 on the mobo. i just got a toshiba dvd rom and i attach it to ide 2 on the mobo and my burner does not appear any longer. windows 2000 is the os. i would like to run the ata 133 as the primary master, the wd as secondary, and so on. right now i cannot even do a re-install of the os without taking the drives off the card and attacging to the board.any thoughts would be cool. thanks.
