I was wondering if there was some way to "lubricate" the inside of our tubing to make it hydrophobic.

I think for those of us running a lot of tubing, a decrease in the attraction of the water to the inside of the tubes could amount to an increase in the flowrate available to run through the system.

Thoughts?

simple yes there is.

here are three common options in use

1> water wetter
2> anti freeze
3> soap.

all three work and brake donw the surface tention of water and will make it not stick to the sides of your hoses. follow the directions of water wetter, ie just a little bit and it will not affect your cooling. but if you use anti-freeze and you are not going sub zero temps, it will make you run a little hotter because it does not absorbe the heat as well as strait water. but if you put in a little bit, ie about a cup, you can get the good effects with out the heat gain. hope this helps :)
