very very odd- pump changing pitch?

This is the same thing as the fans changing pitch (speed) when the CPU
load changes. Get into motherboard monitor and watch the
voltages change.

Usually no big deal......
 
Jeez man, how much stuff you got plugged into that outlet?:D Sure it's not just fan vibration fooling your ears? With your head in a case, it's hard to tell where a sound is coming from, and both the pump and fan can be vibrating a panel.
 
Now that I think of it- I suppose its my psu giving out varying levels of power- Its definetly changing pitch- its in my minifrige 3 feet away so thats the only thing that could be changing.
 
maybe its just coincidense, are you sure their related? unless yuor psu is powering your pump its unlikely its die to electrical factors, maybe the pump slows with higher temp water or something.
