Question about Opengl in Cat 3.0...

Ive been away for awhile now...(work)

Next month I plan on grabbing a 9500 Pro,

I just read funnyperson1's Guide to installing an ATI card...

He noted that the opengl in the cat 3.0 sucks...how and why exactly does it suck?

Thought I should ask before I getteh card...

the combination of DX9 and Cat3.0 messed up many games based on the QIII engine (Q3A, RTCW, and others)

however this was fixed by the folks at www.omegacorner.com and they combined the D3D elements of Cat3.0 with the opengl from the 6228 drivers, and ended up with one of the best catalyst based drivers yet, its what im using right now
