After unlocking the bridges for a certain vcore setting on my 1800 tbred, will the default vcore setting be changed to that voltage, or will unlocking just add higher vcore choices in my bios? Also, if anyone has a guide on which bridges to connect, it would be greatly apreciated.

thats a link that has all the hard codeings for vcore.
im guessing here but im never wrong :D hehe yeh right!
the defualt voltage will be what u set it too on the chip.
it dont unlock anything tho.just your mobo should read the chip like thats the normal default voltage.

this in theory and ive heard this is why it was done originaly was people whos mobo was limited to +.2 on the vcore could fool the mobo.

example.
tbred 1.65vcore default
mobo option upto 1.85vcore and thats as high as it goes.
this will make the mobo think the chip is a 1.85 default vcore.
and will give options to raise it too 2.05 vcore.

last i heard it still works.also note dont do this with air cooling.ive overvolted my mobo too 2.v and my temps were insane.
