how much fsb can an athlon xp actually utilize?

i've been wondering because i see all these posts that say the athlon cant utilize that high a fsb. nvm i think it was bandwidth can a mod to bandwidth

The cpu is going to be running at 133/166 but the rest of your system will be overclocked with an increase in FSB. System performance depends on many other things other than cpu and memory speed.

That is my impression.

As far as I know the athlon will utilize whatever FSB you tell it to utilize.

I think a while ago someone posted that the design of the Athlon was able to utilize an Infinite amount of Bandwidth. Which means if you can get a mother board with a FSB of 1000mhz and a 1 mult an Athlon will be able to utilize it. The only down side to the athlon's design is it isn't able to scale very high in Mhz.
