anyone getting artifacts with Ut2k3 only, nothing else???

I dont have my ati 9700 pro overclocked and I have 2 intake fans, 2 outtake fans, 1 5500 rpm fan blowing air on the side of my video card. my case temps are 25 degrees celcius while my cpu is at 30%.. Also i ran the artifact tester 3 times after running 3d marks twice and i have no artifacts. Could it be a driver issue, people in other forums are telling me its a Ut2k3 thing.. Remember I have played other games for hours without a single problem, I play all games at 1028 by 768 res with 16X anti. and 6X anti. and all qualitiy settings.. Oh yeah i also backed the fsb to defaults and this still happens....

if your talking about the green cheaks on the energy tablets and the black squares that you ssometimes can see around fighters, then its a game problem. If it is modeling erors and white specs apearing alover the place then its too high of an overclock.

thats a fairly majior system, so your 400watt enermax may not be doing the trick anymore. I had one and i have had to upgrade to antec true blue 480watt, but i didn't have any trubbels with my video. just my 5 volt line.

wow, so your telling me it could be possible that my 400X ernomax might not be cutting it and this is why Im seeing these artifacts in this game only??? You could be right! So maybe it isnt a driver issue like everyone else is telling me, I previously had the officials and i didnt remember seeing this problem, maybe it was there and I didnt notice..

No, i do not believe that the PS is the problem for ya. I had the artifacts running off my 8500- fixed that with the newest drivers (22nd o' dec). It was sheer luck, but it fixed it. It only happened in UT2k3 - nothing else. However, it was a driver prob on my side - and i doubt the PS would ONLY affect UT2k3 and not any other game?

thats what I thought! I am a long time Nvidia customer and i just bought this ati card a couple of days ago. I had the fresh version of 3.0 official catalist and then i went with the omegas. I probably didnt uninstall the drivers correctly. I removed em with add/remove programs, then deleted them from the registry and then install the new ones. I never went in safe mode and manually deleted inf files because I wasn't sure which ones to remove... Maybe I should do this again only this time, use the 2.5 catalist and manually remove the inf files....
