i have other system with this in

Epox 8RDA+ last bios[8RDA2C31]
2600+ AUIGA
2xXMS 512mb pc3500
ATi 9700 PRO
PS 400W
HSF Tt V7

i tryd 11.5x 195fsb mem 2.0-6-2-2 vere stable

wen i try any MulteX with 200fsb system hang in 3dmarkSE

i lock the AGP i dont no do i have 2 lock any thing els [pci.ide.etc]

if no what do you think the prob is.

PCI lock is there... automatically implemented though there is no option in the bios. But it is there. Post more info about your setup.

Question:
(1) What Ram slots did you put your DDR in? check your manual and post the info. I put mine in Ram Slot 1 and Ram slot 2 (one close to the cpu socket and one fartherest away from CPU socket)

(2) Your Vcore/Vdmm

(3) OS

(4) 5v/12v rail reading and VDD reading (USDM or bios pc health) and model/make of the PSU

Suggestion:
(1) Change CPU interface from Aggressive to Optimal

(2) Relax your DDR timing to 2.0-7-3-3

What about your VDD? check your USDM for that voltage.

What is your 2400+'s stepping? AIUCB or AIUGB? what week?

2600+ AUIGA isnt that an A stepping i thought the 2600's all had a B stepping

i tryd 10x200 no go

i think my mobo is having a prob i tryd this[cpu.mem.vga]
on other system its ok.

what is the highest FSB you can do 195mhz FSB sync?

i did try 11.5x195 it was ok for 1hr

then it restart or hang in 3dmarkse

now at 12.5x 166 standerd seting its hanging

wen i orderd 8RDA+ i orderd 2 i will try the other 1 i think this 1 is having prob.

What are your temps? CPU, system, ambient?
Do you have any cooling on your Northbridge? Is it running hot?
I heard some people's are so check it. This does impact stability.

its ok now the prob is in the HDD

i have other thing i tryd 2 use hi multiplier's it will boot at 12.5x

do i need 2 unlock the cpu

the cpu is 2600+ AUIGA
mobo 8RDA+ last BIOS{8RDA2C31}

HDD ?? but i thought it will only be affected by pci busses .....weird though since this board has pci lock
