Firmware

Gentlemen, i need your asistance if possible.

I just got a Verbatim 40x12x48x CDRW and i wanted to know if it was possible to overclock it with a newer firmware. I was told that this cdrw is a lite-on rebadge. When i looked in device manager tho, it does'nt say Liteon, it says verbatim 401248AL.

My questions are:

1- What firmware can i use to get my burner to burn from 40x to 48x

2- Where can i get it

use their download search and put in the Verbatim name, you will find they have a firmware flash for yuor CD-RW. Then load the flash utility and you are good to go.
