well i was trying to partition a drive for dual boot purposes and i lost my entire windows partition i guess this serves me right so now i am trying to scramble for my MS cds to install things all over again.
 
I guess you'll be phoning Billy G right about now for permission to reload XP.

How were you partitioning the drive?

How did it nail your <sig> XP partition?

I've been using Disk Manager in w2k to partition and format all my logical drives. So far, so good.
 
i got my hands on a copy of long horn as i alpha test and for various companies and i did an install as a third o/s and it just took out my MBP master boot partition. anywho i am almost done im about to either install red hat or Mandrake not sure yet either RH8 or Mandrake 9
