Voltage...

I have browsed the forum a little bit, and the thing i reacted to was that someone had the same cpu as me, and they could oc it from 3GHz and up with under 1.6V or 1.6V...I can just oc mine to 2.85GHz with 1.6V...if more MHz it gets untable Why is it like this?...Oh i can't adjust higher voltage cause the mainboard doesn't allow it

Could be the motherboard, or the type of memory you use.

No its not the heat, it was MAX load 56C on CPU and 29C MAX load on the mainboard...

56C is pretty high.... so the question remains

im having a hard time getting up to 3ghz. im able to run stable as a rock at 2.98ghz w/1.65v but when i up my fsb to hit 3ghz and up the voltage to 1.675 it would but as 3ghz, able to load windows, but when i try to open a app it would reboot. should i try 1.7v or lil higher to hit 3ghz? i know 1.7 is the limit but i just wanna see how it benches at 3ghz for a 1.8 chip. thx!!!
