Screen Saver Problem

Hi
This is my 1st post!
I have a Screen Saver problem with this OS(Windows ME).
It worked fine until I reloaded the OS.
It works fine until I use my modem.If I do not dial up it works fine.
I do not know what to do or where to look.
Thanks for any help.

why would you wan to use the screen saver if your online ?

There is times when it is online all day and I would like for the SS to come on.

You could disable the SS and just have APM turn off your monitor. Saves power as well!

What screensaver are you using? Have you downloaded the latest patches and stuff for Windows?
