I have an IDE drive as my main drive, and have two SCSI drives as a raid0 using the built in win2k software for this. The Ide drive holds the windows files, but my scsi array has the swap file and all other files from software installation.
If my IDE drive dies, and I get a new one and reinstall win2k, and then plug back in both scsi drives, will the windows recognise the raid array? or is the whole thing dead when the IDE goes?

If one of the two drives goes dead then you lose evrything including the things you have on hte second drive.

He's saying if he has to reinstall Win2k, is it going to see his scsi stripe ok.

I'm not sure either way, never had to do it and I wouldn't be surprised if it would or wouldn't.
