Straight from the mouth of Asus customer support about incorrect temperature reading from 1010. They finally sent me this email back after a month or so that I sent them an email reporting the temp reading bug. Below is Asus' response to my email. The link somehow doesn't work for me.. it may work for someone else?

Anyways, I searched on the ASUS site and found 1011.006 as "beta" update.

"Dear customer

Please update the bios version to the latest beta version 1011.004 , it can solved the incorrect CPU temperature .

ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/mb/socka/kt400/a7v8x/1011-004.zip"
