Best Video card for under $100

I would think a 9000 128MB or a 9500 64MB would be the best in your price range. Both have their advantages/disadvantages.
However, I would try to either hold out until I had enough for a 9500 128 with the hopes of running it as a 9700, or for a good Ti4200 128 that could be oced to 4600, or as close as possible, speeds.

in your shoes i would scavenge the newegg refurbs every day until i saw a non-gainward 4200 for under 100$, you cant go wrong with that, at CompUSA they have a 4200 for 100$.....otherwise i would get an 8500LE for around 60-80$ they are great deals

and so has GeforceFX, yet somehow threads keep popping up about it.....and most of them have been posted by ?.....not flaming just saying, that really he can ask the question if he wants as the status of the market changes every week...

I would not go lower than an 8500 LE. Newegg still has them but they won't last forever. The 9000 is a decent card as well and only cost $70. I think Ti 4200 prices are still above $100 but used or refurbed is always an option.
