I have not unlocked my cpu....but every time that I try to rasie teh voltage...my computer will not boot and i have to swithc something on the motherboard for it to boot again....(its like FSB safemode or something) but my question is does my cpu have to be unlocked to raise the voltage?

No your CPU does not need to be "unlocked" cos i am pretty sure i raised my voltage on my previous 1GHz AMD and it was not "unlooked"... and i know i can change the voltage on my current chip cos it aint "unlocked" (Duron 1.3GHz... just cant seem to get it "unlocked"
