9500 pro and ecs K7S5A mobo?

Question 9500 pro and ecs K7S5A mobo?


i'm gonna order my 9500 pro this week,but for now i've got to use it with my K7S5A mobo(upgrading to a better mobo next month). is anyone had any experience w this combo, if so was it good or bad? any info appreciated!

I got the card, 9500 Pro from Newegg, and it works great on my K7S5A. No problems what so ever, and my 3dmark score went from 9000 with my 8500 to 12000 with the 9500pro. This was with the LIMITED (and I mean LIMITED ) overclocking on the cpu, at around 147 fsb.

I haven't overclocked the card yet tho, haven't built up the bravery to update the bios. I mean, it's still a baby, ya know, its gotta learn to walk at least (lol, jk)

thanks for the reply! i'm gonna reformat and reinstall xp home to make sure i don't get any drv conflicts from leftover nvidia files. can't flash to a newer bios but will install the lastest agp drvs from sis.
