Unhappy i think it's dead....

Well, im pretty sure my gf3 ti200 died today. I got home from work, turned it on, and the xp boot screen was full of small atrifacts. Then windows started and the whole screen had lines up and down it and every time i click on something to open it, the monitor turns off and then on, like it's adjusting the refresh rate.

I set the clocks back to default, set my cpu back to defaults, took it out and reseated it, uninstalled it and reinstalled all drivers, changed referesh rate and resolution, but to no avail....any ideas??

i tried it on a different comp and it does the same thing

i think i'm too late to RMA it, i bought it about 6-8 months ago

R.I.P.

Sorry to hear of your loss, it's always hard to lose a friend.

But at least you can use it as its own headstone

Perhaps leobob was unaware that OCing automatically voids any warranties that came with a product.

Many products are marketed with the assertion that "It's the best for OCing," while their warranty still says "Changing parameters beyond manufacturer's recommended setting will void any warranty real or implied"

Goofy, but that's how they make money. Kind of like "This car will do 110mph, but don't expect us to pay your speeding tickets"
