You don't apply, no requirements.

When we need another moderator due to workload, we select one from the existing membership. Well, the Senior Membership, anyway, as they're a member base that has at least most of the qualities we want out of a moderator.

I'll take this one Thelemac.

Want to become a Senior Member? Here is what the moderators and staff look for when appointing Senior Members: (In order of importance)

1. A willingness to help others, particularly when an individual has little personal interest in the topic or problem. As when a Senior helps a beginner with a problem which has been discussed many times in the past.
2. A demonstrated patience and reserve in dealing with disagreeable people.
3. The ability to discuss or disagree in a topic on the basis of REASON rather than personal attacks, which never further knowledge, but can only wound hearts.
4.A reasonable to good back ground in overclocking and cooling combined with a general knowledge of hardware as a whole.
5. Approximately three - four months in our forum. Time to demonstrate a continuing interest in our forum and allow us to determine the presence of the afore mentioned qualities.

Maybe the swearing kept you from being a senior. Thelemac didn't seem to like it too much. Lol.

I spelled it with a "ie" not just a "i" right??? If I used just an i, that is what happens when you are up all night and post @ 6 AM

Ditto on the statement above. If you can't even use "ie" sorry. Was just playing around tooooooooo early in the morning.

I don't really expect to become senior here b/c I don't really help anyone. Plus I disagree a lot (although it usually is to try and open eyes) even though most of the time I am wrong. Right there I have two strikes. I don't really know squat about cooling (strike three), Don't overclock too much (strike four), I have no patience with dealing with rude people (strike five)(although if I make a rude statement I don't expect a nice answer back).

The only thing that i have going for me is the willingness and the time spent on the forums Oh well, maybe next year
