A few days ago, i got a temperature bug. MBM5 was showing a system temperature of 10°celcius. That was weird since the room temp is well above 20°c and it ain't the fanless zalman radiateur that's keeping it cool .... eheh
Anyway i got the same temperature in the bios. :(

Where is this system thermistor on the mobo? I've heard that they're integrated into the northbridge. Anyone know?

Anyway, my computer is rockstable, no problems what so ever, besides the temperature bug.

Should I worry about it? or just leave things how they are?

Since I've been overclocking a bit, i guess i voided my warranty. But I don't think this problem is overclocking related. or is it?

All help is appreciated, thanx!

nobody can respond to that when no mobo is mentioned :)

If you are referring to the 8RDA+
did you set up mbm5 correctly? Winbond 1 is unusable.
system is Winbond 3
CPU is Winbond 2

thermister is under pcb in center of socket. it's supposedly connected to a trace of a pin of the cpu. not like usual thermisters that are visible and touch the cpu bottom or read air under cpu space.

ooops good point, my mobo is an 8K5A3+ with a KT333CE chipset.

MBM isn't the problem here, because I get those strange temps in the bios too.

Where's the thermistors that monitors the mobo temp? in the northbridge?
