well no offence here bud...but its kinda self explanitory..800..80mm. but it will hold a 60mm and 80mm. i think a 70 will fit too...but there is also a special version for the vantec 70mm fan.

Hope that helps,

~Will

I knew it could hold a 80mm

I was talking about any bigger sizes ( 92mm ) or any of the smaller sizes like the 60mm or the 70mm

Like the sk-6 that if you mounted it right could hold an 80mm when it was desinged to only have a 60mm

I'm using the V7+ fan on my SLK-800 and it's a 70mm. Works just fine.

I read a review of the SLK-800 a few weeks ago that said some 25mm x 92mm fans will fit it but some won't and that it takes a little stretching of the mounting wires to get one attached. I tried to get my 92mm Zalman fan on my SLK-800 but couldn't. I hadn't planned on leaving it on since I think it would be too heavy. I just wanted to see if I could get it attached. My 92mm Zalman fan is suspended with 2-sided tape about 3/8 of an inch over my SLK-800 in the new system I'm building.

How do you mount 70 and 60mm size fans with the 800?

its hard to put fans on any of the sl/slk series because they use clips to attach the fans. a bit of southern engenering comes into play.

Yea I know all about the steps. How are you supposed to hold a 60 or 70 mm on there?

you just set it on there and center it...and set the stops on it.

a 92 should work with some clip bending, although i would doubt how well it works, because the larger 92 mm fan would have a larger dead spot in the middle than a 80mm, so it may have probs cooling the core

Yea, you already have a bit of overhang with the 80mm fans on the sides. I could barely fit them on my K7D dual rig; the fans touch each other on the sides.
