Western Digital 8meg cache for RAID-0

Seems I read somewhere that the "special edition" Western Digital hard drives with the 8mb cache were not a good choice for a RAID-0 set-up...Any comments or advice???

I have two 1200jb in a raid 0, and i only get 40,000kb a sec average using hd tach 2.61. I think it is kind of slow if you ask me

I have that exact setup and my ATTO scores top out around 80-90Kish, IIRC... and that's with the onboard RAID controller even!

I am 110% happy with my setup.
