I heard about this today. I was told that its called "Tracer Tape". You are supposed to be able to apply this to the L1 bridge on your AMD processor to unlock it. Dont know much else, except that its kinda expensive around 30 bucks for two apps of the stuff. Think that it would be worth it?

Which part?

We have been using all kinds of stuff to unlock AMD processors for years now. I have a $10 conductive ink pen, so $30 seems high.

lemme look for some links.

I could not find the one I was looking for, but here are some.
Basically, check out what is posted in the AMD area.
AMD chips have bridges on the surface that AMD cuts to "lock" some of the processor's features. The L1s control what multipier the processor will run at. By using something conductive to close them we can gain access to change that setting.
It is a little tricky, I suggest you do a lot of reading before you try it.
