Forget it...
5 divider is the highest... 6 is not available for KT333 chipset..

I also have KX7-333... B6 is the newest... and 1/5 is the highest divider.. !!

I guess we can just dream for now. I hear the new kt 400 chipset isn't the best for overclocking so there is no point in getting a new board yet.

The KT400 dosent have a 1/6 divider either the closest you can get to 1/6 is the Nforce boards which lock pci/agp

The kx7 is pretty good for overclocking, tho' the 1/6 divider would be great.

I don't believe that its technology is too old....they update the old kg7 still...I mean my 2400+ is at a 168Mhz FSB with no probs so it should have no problem running 333Mhz FSB cpus.

My kx-333r is a pos, somethings wrong with the 80 conducter cable, so I cant OC passed 166fsb, if I do I randomly crash cause it shuts my hd off.

Why dont you give that 2400+ some gas??
168 FSB why not at least 180 fsb?

ABIT or VIA?

Seems like the lack of BIOS revisions could be the fault of VIA instead of Abit like everyone assumed. It was VIA who discontinued manufacturing of the Pure KT333 chipset to boost sales for the KT400 chipsets. If BIOS updates are still going for boards like the KG7 - |RAID & even the older KT7|A - |RAID it may just be this board.
