Volume Information Loss

ok, one of my hard drives volume information took a big crap earlier today. I cant reactive the disk in windows so my question is there any way to get the data off the disk or to rebuild the volume w/o formating? thanks a bunch

Welcome to the forums.

Take a look at the sticky on the top for Drive diagnostics, DL the one for your drive, and see if you have a hardware problem first. Then post a bit more info.

thanks...the drive is shot...i recovered the data and tried to format and it wouldnt format....so its toast.....oh well at least i got my data back.....mods can lock this thread if that's what you guy do here. thanks
