I cant identify these memory chips, its a stick of pc2700 512Mb that I picked up local and the chips have a VT insignia. Its a cl 2.5 and seems to run into the 180's with 2.8V but my system runs smoother closer to 166 (thanks to the adjustable multiplier testing was easy)

here is the info on the chips
1st line: VT3225804T-6
2nd line: 2A 0303

sandra and aida32 say it is wintec memory but I cant find any wintec except these guys http://www.wintecind.com/ and I cant find the module I have in any of their documentation

I looked up everything I could think of and the VT and the numbers only brought up a few obscure pages. You can see here http://www.biwa.ne.jp/~yok/DDR-P4PE.htm <--top image

anybody have any idea who makes these?

Check this company: Kreton

A company called Kreton, produces the VT Memory modules:

"Since 1995, Kreton has been producing VT Brand Modules/DRAMs..."

http://www.kreton.com/vt_memory.htm

They also have a major alliance with Nanya Technology & distributes Nanya memory modules Elixir brand.

By contacting their Tech Support, you may find more details on YOUR memory modules/chips, as they don't list chip part numbers on the website.
