Think way back when about the SD-RAM mobos. What was the best one? I dont need to overclock it, I need onboard sound, 5 or 6 PCI slots, 2x/4x AGP, support for at least a 1ghz cpu. doesnt need video becusae I have a card. The reason I want a sdram one is that I have at least 576MB of ram. I burned out my 600MHZ slot 1 PIII so I want to go AMD. It still works but I always get the "Blue Screen of Death."

The MSI K7T Turbo2 is a nice board also Epox 8KTA3 is good but can be picky...or you can always go with a board that takes both SDram and DDR like ECS K7S5A or Shuttle AK32L

The MSI K7T Turbo2. Does that need a Palmino? It has support up to. Well, just read this.

Could I just get a T-bred?

just a 1.33 t-bird. not a xp. it states it supports up to 1800+. Cheaper to get the faster one overall, but I don't want a Palmino.

You can probably get a better overclock with a palomino especially if you can find a 1600. They run a bit cooler than the 1.33 tbird will.
