Hey all

I am having a problem when attempting to run prime 95 on my 1800+

Specs:
amd 1800+ (bios default memory and cpu settings, vcore @1.8 (can't change it))
A7N8X-deluxe
512 samsung ddr 333
Enermax 450 watt psu

I attempt to run prime with out OC'ing my machine and it powers off with in 3 seconds of me running the application

I am at a loss as to what exactly is killing me here..
I think possible C.O.P. on the A7N8x becuase of the fact that the CPU temp according to that is @ 63 idle.. yet every other sensor says 40-43 (asus probe and digidoc)

Anyone have any other thoughts?

cool mod 9 @ half speed
vcore @ 1.8
chip @ 1.7

mem timings are 5-3-3-2t

ram volt @ 2.7

cause my board reads the chip on bios as 63 i think cop is the problem

Then you need to run that fan at full speed and see if that indeed is the problem.

did that
problem is that the bios determines the speed to be 20c higher then it is and it just decides to poweroff
