Fan Brackets?

The metal bracket clamp arm things. I forget what they are called, but are they supposed to be so damn tight. I broke both the friggen tabs off both sides of it. Now I have to use a smaller fan.

Are there other ways to mount a fan to a processor. The brackets really scare me. I feel like im going to snap off the tab and gouge the snot out of my MoBo

You can use thermal adhesive if you're not planning to take the heatsink off
