usb problem on kk266

I can't get into windows at anything above 142 on a 1.3 t-bird on my kk266. It flashes the windows screen and then the red light on my microsoft optical mouse either flashes (at 143) or never comes on (anything above 143). It can go ps/2 also but I don't want to drill another friggin hole in my plexiglass case. Do you guys think going ps/2 would help? Has anyone else run into this problem?

Right now I'm running happily at about 1.6, will run prime95 if its below freezing, but my fsb is only like 137 or something. oh yea, ive got pc150 mem & i tried cranking up the i/o voltage (nothing).

You might try going to VIA's website and downloading the USB patch. That might help.
