can't burn cd/dvd???

i just installed a new mobo, Chaintech 7NJL1 Apogee.
Formatted the drive with a fresh XPpro install.

But i can't burn a cd or dvd, with nero or dvddecryptor. I've been using these programs a lot lately. I have a Plextor 24x, and Sony DRU500A, and neither one will burn. Something is fishy.

anybody got an idea?

do you have the latest frimwire updates for both, and the aspi drivers?

You can try and install the latest ASPI. That usually fixes the problem.

Get a copy of easy cd creator and load that. It works well with plextor drives. Uninstall all the other burn software before you install easy cd creator. Also, disconnect all but the plextor and try again.

Force ASPI didn't work, nothing would work, so i reinstalled the OS and used the updated nforce pack.
Now everything is cool. Who knows?

No offense intended, but, there is nothing short of getting paid in cold hard cash to make me use that crapware. Even if just to load the drivers.
