I have a new laptop with a 1.8 Mobile Celeron. It has an ATI chipset in it. I was wondering if anybody knows if I can upgrade to a Mobile Pentium 4 1.7.

It depends on the modle and make of your lappy. The only ones that i know of that will allow yuo to do this is the Dell Inspirion 8100 - 8200. I have the 8200, it allows you to upgrade the mem, HDD, cpu & videocard. I have a 1.6 m p4 and the highest i can upgrade to with my current mobo is a 2.0m
