Hello !
I read a review about the "Kingwin 450 Watt Power Supply KWI-450WAS" on "www.overclockers.com" and I found something strange. Yes, there are "holes" near the back fan and the motherboard supply cable. What the used of theses holes when they are 3 fans around ???
More, there are 3 fans which blow air in the unit but only 1 fan which blow air out of the unit. As the rule, everything go in must go out, 2 things :
a) The fan which blow air out of the unit will spin faster in order to deal with the air flow created by the 3 others fans (creating by the way more noise).
b) Hot air will pass through the "holes" of the power supply and go back inside the tower case, not good ?!
I saw some power supplies which have 2 fans (blow in and blow out). Then, why to make holes in the power supply when the two fans are technically equals and put in serial way ? No air will pass through theses holes ?!
Unfortunately, I don't have theses power supplies and can't compare my theory with practice.
Have I missed anything ?
Best Regards,
Yuwi
