odd xp/boot problem

Ok well i just installed windows xp pro heh. One thing though...every time i boot up, it requires me to have the xp disc in the drive in order for the os to load? anyone know why its doing this? it just says failure to boot from atapi cd-rom if its not in there, and when i put it in it just checks it then continues loading windows...???

specs: asus a7n8x
2x 256 corsair xms pc3200
xp2100+
radeon 9500

everything is at stock speed right now

Check your boot order in BIOS. That's the first place I'd check.

checked that already...its floppy->hd->cdrom

it's hd0 now, but i've tried both

Try resetting your Bios by shorting the jumper, maybe its confused? The A7N8X can have some weird problems sometimes
