hey there, just wantin you GF4 ti4200 and Radeon 9500pro owners to post your 3dmark (please state which version) scores here. the reason im asking this is because I don't know wether to get Radeon 9500pro or gf4 ti4200 as I can get them for the same price! Thanks, i appreciate it.

I just got my geforce abit 4200 64mb card along with the rest of the stuff u will see in my sig and i ran 3dmark 2001 i got a 12500 with out the vcard being overclocked. that was running @2.3 tho.

The 9500 Pro is by FAR the better card of the two if u wanted to know...im still downloading the new 3DMark (sister stopped it after i left for school

) but ill give u the results when its done

I have 28 mins left and then ill be running the test to let you know as well. i think i might overclock the vcard to run 2003 version tho.

just finished doing my 3dmark damn 3dmark crashed right b4 i could post it i forgot to turn off my firewall n a/v prob will try again tomorrow and get better scores. I also left vid card settings n core/mem settings on default .

My 3dmark2003 score is 4281

dont know how good that is but im looking for better so ill try rivatuner n adjsut my core/mem speed n make sure i got everything closed next time

well I have a Gf4Ti4200 64mb by Pny Technologies and I scored an 1835 vid card is overclocked to 270 Core Clock/555memory clock

I noticed Geforce4 cards suck on this benchmark cause its missing the directx9 features required for the mother nature test. Most can't score past 2k even for a Ti4600 card.Ati Radeon 9500-9700 can run all tests and score between 3k-5k. So it depends on which type of card u have.Also having a fast CPU doesnt help much as it really wants a card that has directx9 support. For instance with my CPU @ Athlon 2800+ speed and a G4Ti4200@275/550 I get only 1583

,compared to 13000+ on 3dmark2k1SE. This really stinks my less than 1 yr old vidcard
just got the crap knocked out of it

2001 score - 12100
2k3 score- 3885 <= sucks... need to tewak, people with my system have much better

I got 3859 with my proc at stock...i just gotta wait for my 8RDA and SLK 800 with Tornado to get here so i can overclock my proc

3dmark03 = 3717

The regular Radeon 9500 is so crippled it's funny. A GeForce3 Ti 200 has better multi texture fill rates. Oh well.

Get the 9500 pro, not because of some skewed 3dmark2k3 test, but because its just a better card all at everything.

Faster in all situations with the ability to turn up all the eye candy that you won't get with the Ti4200.

The Ti4200 is good for around $120 or less, but if they are the same price its no contest.

No, I will never own another Nvidia graphics card. My TNT2 Ultra was it for me. I've been with ATi ever since and I see no reason to leave.

2001se 13577 @ 315/324. cpu = 2320 (185 x 12.5) vcard can go higher, but need a better cooling and the dame thing refuses to run at 195fsb (pci speed = 39, which is simply too much)

ok y r some people that have a 12000 in 3dmark 2001 getting above 2000 score in 2003 version i got a 12400 without vcard overclocked and i only got 1400
