recommend a feature-rich board

can anyone please recommend some AMD boards with all of these features:

IEEE1394
USB 2.0
Serial-ATA
AGP8x

There are a good dozen of those boards with the features you're looking for.

What chipset do you want? That would narrow it down to two boards. ASUS A7N8X and Epox 8RDA.

While my Giga-byte board isn't the overclockers dream, it is one of the best KT400 boards around, and is very stable; quality is almost unmatched. Overall I'm happy with my choice, so you might check it out if you're looking for a KT400. I would wait on KT400a to come out.

If I was buying a new board today, given the speed of nforce2 chipset, and dual channel DDR (although not tremendous), I would get the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe. It has everything you want, plus is an awesome performer. The Epox 8RDA series is good as well, but their build quality isn't quite up to par; they continue to improve though. I had an 8K3A as my last board, and it died on me.
